Today after breakfast, we begin our 6 Days in Morocco Itinerary from Casablanca by heading to Rabat, the capital of Morocco and one of the country’s four imperial cities. In Rabat, we visit the impressive Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the historic Kasbah of the Udayas, a peaceful Andalusian-style neighborhood with beautiful ocean views.

From here, we continue our drive to Meknes for a short visit to explore its old gates and architecture. Later in the afternoon, we arrive in Fes, where you’ll be dropped off at your traditional riad for the night.

Today starts with a guided city tour. After breakfast, your local guide will pick you up from your riad to begin exploring Fes, one of Morocco’s most historic and culturally rich cities. You’ll start with a visit to the royal palace gates and the massive ancient city walls. Continue on to see the colorful tanneries, the Medersa Al Attarine, and the Nejjarine Fountain.

One of the highlights is a visit to Al-Qarawīyīn University, considered the oldest existing university in the world. You’ll also wander through the medina’s narrow streets, lined with spice stalls, artisan shops, and traditional Berber carpets. After lunch in a typical local restaurant, you’ll return to your riad for an overnight stay.

Today we leave early for a long but scenic journey toward the Sahara. Our route takes us through diverse landscapes that might remind you more of Europe than Morocco, thanks to the lush vegetation and alpine-style houses of the Middle Atlas region. We pass through Ifrane, often called the “Moroccan Switzerland,” and continue into the beautiful Ifrane National Park, home to one of the country’s largest cedar forests.

If we’re lucky, we’ll encounter the famous Barbary macaques along the way. After crossing the Middle Atlas Mountains and enjoying panoramic stops and snack breaks, we descend toward the Sahara. In Erfoud, we visit a local fossil workshop that crafts stunning items from the region’s ancient stones.

Finally, we reach Merzouga, where your hotel or desert camp awaits at the edge of the dunes. As the sun begins to set, you’ll enjoy a peaceful camel ride across the golden sands—an unforgettable moment of the tour.

Today, after a rich Moroccan breakfast featuring olives, fresh bread, tajine-style eggs, and local sweets, we continue the 6 Days in Morocco Itinerary with a 4×4 excursion into the heart of the desert. We’ll take you through the sweeping dunes and into the surrounding plains, known for their fascinating fossil finds and old eyeliner coal mines.

A special highlight is a visit to the village of Khamlia to meet the Gnawa musicians, whose powerful rhythms and songs trace back to ancient African traditions. We’ll also stop to drink tea with nomads under their hand-woven tents and learn more about their way of life.

Lunch is a delicious taste of the Sahara—a traditional Madfouna, also known as Berber pizza, served hot from a firewood oven. The afternoon is yours to unwind or climb the dunes for views, sandboarding, or simply soaking in the silence of the desert. Dinner and overnight at the camp or hotel near the dunes.

We’ll pick you up after your leisurely breakfast and continue the 6 Days in Morocco Itinerary toward Boumalne Dades. Today’s journey takes us along the scenic Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, a region filled with ancient fortresses and remnants of once-thriving caravan routes. The landscape is dramatic, with scattered oases, crumbling kasbahs, and striking rock formations on either side of the road.

Our first major stop is at the spectacular Todgha Gorge, located at 1,550 meters above sea level in the Berber town of Tinghir. Towering limestone cliffs frame a narrow canyon with a stream flowing through—an awe-inspiring natural wonder. After some time to admire and walk through the gorge, we continue to the Dades Valley, where we’ll visit another impressive canyon carved by nature: the Dades Gorge.

In the evening, we’ll reach Boumalne Dades and check into your charming hotel or riad for dinner and overnight stay.

Today we drive back to Marrakech, but there’s still so much to experience on the way. We begin with a scenic journey through the fragrant Valley of the Roses, where you’ll find everything from rose-scented body creams to locally made perfumes and essential oils. It’s a lovely stop for anyone who enjoys natural beauty products or wants to bring home a unique souvenir.

Next, we continue toward Ouarzazate, Morocco’s film capital, known for its cinematic landscapes. Just nearby lies one of the most iconic sights of the 6 Days Itinerary from Casablanca: the fortified village of Aït Ben Haddou. This ancient ksar, built from clay and straw, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and has been featured in countless films and series, including “Game of Thrones.”

From there, we drive up the High Atlas Mountains and make a stop at the breathtaking Tizi-n-Tichka Pass, sitting at 2,260 meters above sea level. After taking in the views, we descend toward the plains and reach Marrakech. Depending on your flight time or plans, we’ll transfer you to your hotel, riad, or directly to the airport.
