Today, you’ll travel through the enchanting Valley of the Roses, visit the iconic Ait Benhaddou, and cross the majestic High Atlas Mountains, concluding your Moroccan adventure on a high note.

After a refreshing breakfast, we set off from Bomalen Dades and head towards the picturesque Valley of the Roses. This scenic valley, nestled between the High Atlas Mountains and the Sahara Desert, is renowned for its lush fields of Damask roses that bloom each spring, filling the air with a delicate floral scent. These fragrant flowers are handpicked by locals and used to create a variety of aromatic products, including rose perfume, rose water, body creams, and even essential oils.

We stop at a local cooperative where you can learn about the traditional methods of extracting rose oil and producing beauty products. This is the perfect place to purchase authentic souvenirs, from beautifully scented rose soaps to luxurious rose-infused cosmetics. The cooperative also provides an opportunity to support the local community, as most products are handcrafted by Berber women.

Continuing our journey, we head towards Ouarzazate, often referred to as the “Hollywood of Morocco.” This vibrant city is famous for its film studios and has served as the backdrop for numerous international movies and TV shows, including Gladiator, The Mummy, and Game of Thrones. We make a brief stop for a photo opportunity at the iconic Kasbah Taourirt, a magnificent mud-brick fortress that stands as a symbol of Morocco’s architectural heritage.

Our next destination is the legendary Ksar Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of Morocco’s most remarkable historical landmarks. This ancient fortified village, made entirely of clay and straw, dates back to the 17th century and is a fine example of traditional Moroccan earthen architecture. I had the pleasure of embarking on a 11-day tour from Marrakech to the Sahara Desert with a Morocco itinerary. The experience was nothing short of spectacular.
The first day was spent exploring the vibrant city of Marrakech, with its bustling markets and stunning architecture. The highlight of the day was visiting the Bahia Palace, a beautiful 19th-century palace with intricate tilework and lush gardens.
The next two days were spent driving through the Atlas Mountains and visiting various Berber villages along the way. The scenery was breathtaking, with snow-capped peaks and lush valleys. We also had the opportunity to ride camels through the desert and spend a night in a traditional Berber camp.
The final day was spent driving through the stunning Draa Valley, with its palm groves and ancient kasbahs. We also visited the Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most well-preserved kasbahs in the region. Overall, the 11-day tour from Marrakech was an unforgettable experience that I would highly recommend to anyone wants to visit Morocco.

I recently went on a tour of 11 Days with Moha from Morocco Itinerary Agency and it was an incredible experience. Moha was an excellent guide who provided detailed information about the places we visited. The itinerary was well-planned and we were able to see many beautiful sights in a short amount of time. Overall, I highly recommend booking a tour with Moha and Morocco Itinerary Agency.
